Regulators

The U.S. futures industry has three levels of regulation:
Commodity Futures Trading Commission

National Futures Association

  1. the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, an independent federal regulatory agency;

  2. the National Futures Association, an industry-wide self-regulatory organization, and

  3. the futures exchanges that have regulatory obligations for their members.
