Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)
GARP is a not-for-profit global membership organization that represents over 150,000 Members and Affiliates from banks, investment management firms, government agencies, academic institutions, and corporations from more than 195 countries and territories. The IFM is registered with GARP as an Approved Provider of continuing professional development (CPD) credits. Select IFM courses are eligible for GARP CPD credits, and when applicable the course description indicates the number of credits awarded upon course completion. If you are a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) and the Energy Risk Professional (ERP®), please record the course activity in your GARP account at www.garp.org/cpd.
National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA)
NASBA was founded in 1908 and serves as an association dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness of the U.S's 55 state boards of accountancy. Information on NASBA is available on its web site www.learningmarket.org.
The IFM is registered with NASBA as a Sponsor of continuing professional education (CPE) on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Developed in 1990, the National Registry of CPE Sponsors is a program offered by NASBA to recognize CPE program sponsors who provide education in accordance with nationally recognized standards. Select IFM courses are eligible for CPE credits, and when applicable the course description indicates the number of credits awarded upon course completion. Please note that state boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. As CPE program sponsor, IFM retains adequate documentation regarding each CPE program event for a minimum of five years.
